Family Feud! Anong sabi ng survey?

A day to remember! A true lesson outside the classroom! The MAHS MIL students with TM were proudly invited to be part of the 4th anniversary celebration of Family Feud Philippines.

We are deeply grateful to GMA Network and the amazing Family Feud staff for this incredible opportunity. This experience showed us that learning doesn’t only happen within four walls, it happens through real-life moments like this.

Sama ka ulit next time?

Media and Information Literacy successfully presented the 3rd Melchora Aquino Film Festival (3rd MAFF) last February 19, 2026, at the MAHS Covered Court.

This event would not have been possible without the help, support, and dedication of the following amazing individuals and groups:

We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Herminia J. Flores, Principal II, for your approval, unwavering support, and unending guidance.

To Sir TM and Sir Art Saniano, MIL Teachers, thank you for overseeing the event from day one up to the big day. Your leadership and commitment truly made this celebration possible.

To our respected judges — Dr. Jackielyn Estiller, Sir Rye Aguirre, Sir Sherwin Teves, and our alumni Poga Reyes, Jam Cabahug, and Jeri Hernandez — thank you for your time, effort, and expertise in helping us choose the winners.

Our heartfelt appreciation to our generous sponsors:
Barangay Tandang Sora SK Council, led by SK Chairman Jules Apo, for providing the LED wall
Councilor Banjo Pilar, through Sir Maxi, for lending the sound system and providing hotdogs
Councilor Doc Elli Juan and Councilor Cocoy Medina for providing lugaw and popcorn

To the photojournalists of Ang Kamalayan and Luminary, led by their advisers Ma’am Glyde Magbual and Sir Sherwin Teves, thank you for capturing some of the memorable moments of the 3rd MAFF and helping us document this meaningful event together with the Grade 12 students.

To all the parents, alumni, and guests — thank you for supporting and attending the 3rd MAFF.

Special thanks to Paul Jelo Andres and the rest of 12-ICT for handling the technical aspects and video presentation preparations. Your efforts ensured that no major technical issues arose during the event.

To 12 HUMSS B — John Michael Ligson, James Bonagua, Khamae Paleracio, Justine Dela Paz, Buen, Boco, Otacan, Sajol, Paro Cruz, Miranda, Jamandron, Seguin, Corpuz, Tolentino, and the rest of the class — thank you for your dedication during the venue setup. Without you, the venue would not have been as beautiful as it turned out to be.

To 12-ABM, the whole class — thank you for always being ready to help. Special thanks to Ella Mae Avila, Ermel Serran, and Aliya Hinahon for leading the class in supporting the 3rd MAFF. Thank you for documenting the event, facilitating marketing and registration, and for your initiative in setting up the Photo Booth without asking for anything in return.

To 12-HE, thank you for sharing your expertise in table skirting and for leading the food preparation and distribution. You made sure that the food, especially for the judges and guests, was ready before the program started.

To 12 HUMSS A, led by Shaira Araojo, thank you for handling the physical arrangement. Your early arrival ensured that every participant had a seat. Thank you also for helping dismantle the setup after the event.

To 12 HUMSS C, thank you for providing the beautiful balloon arc at the venue entrance as well as helping us to return the venue to its original set up after the event. Special thanks to Edison Damian for offering the black cloth used to cover the court.

To 12 STEM, thank you for assisting throughout the event and for always saying “yes” to whatever help was needed.

To Antwan Sibayan, Justine Silastre, and the rest of the Medics Team, thank you for setting up your station to ensure that any emergency would be responded to quickly. Thankfully, no incidents happened.

To our last-minute performers:
Jelo Andres and Paul Gloria for the Nationalistic Song — you left everyone in awe. Angela Merced, your angelic voice truly elevated the event. To the ABM Dancers — Dador, Brozo, Garcia, Varon, Alayon, Ibarrientos, Amante, Tomoling, Balgua, and Reyes — thank you for performing despite having less than a day to prepare.

To our Technical and Floor Directors — Jelo Andres, Ron Vinarao, Miguel Santilices, Reign Marin, Nilo Frias, and Gian Precioso — you helped us run the show smoothly. Without you, we would not have been able to start and finish on time. We hope that you enjoy the experience.

To our very professional on-the-spot teleprompter operator, Jessabel Umayan, you did a great job!
To the calm and composed voice-over of Rosel Zapico, you truly set the tone of the program.

And to our amazing hosts, Kurt Samuel and Princess Madriaga, thank you for saying yes despite the pressure. You both did an outstanding job!

Finally, to all the Grade 12 learners, thank you for your efforts, hard work, and dedication. We hope that you will carry these meaningful experiences with you even after you graduate from Melchora Aquino High School.

The success of the 3rd Melchora Aquino Film Festival is a testament to teamwork, dedication, and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who became part of this memorable celebration of talent and creativity. 🎬✨
