Ang "Lugs" ay ang mga corrugation na makikita sa ibabaw ng deformed reinforcing bars (rebar). Ang mga ito ay hindi basta-bastang disenyo lamang. Ito ay may tamang height, spacing, angle, at area. Mahalaga ang mga ito upang magkaroon ng mas matibay na kapit ang bakal sa kongkreto.

Kapag may ribs o lugs ang rebar, nababawasan ang posibilidad na dumulas ito sa loob ng kongkreto kapag may bigat o puwersang dinadala ang ating structure. Dahil dito, mas epektibong nagtutulungan ang kongkreto at bakal sa pagdadala ng bigat.

Para sa latest department order ng tamang testing ng rebar lugs, maaaring basahin ang DPWH Standard Specification for Item 902 - Reinforcing Steel (DO No. 19 s2025)
