What does a more sustainable, transparent, and resilient community look like? It looks like KABAN! πŸ“ŠπŸ”

Our capstone team has designed a QR-integrated Resource Management System specifically tailored to elevate the administrative efficiency of Barangay Banicain.

By transitioning local asset tracking into a secure Progressive Web Application (PWA), KABAN introduces reliable digital workflows that operate completely offline when internet connectivity is unstable. πŸ–₯οΈπŸ’‘

Through this innovation, we are hitting three critical global milestones right at the local level:1️⃣

KABAN: Modernizing Resource Management for Barangay Banicain

Managing community assets efficiently is vital for local governance, yet many communities still struggle with traditional systems. Manual tracking inaccuracy, unexpected expiration risks, accountability gaps, and delayed reporting often slow down operations and service delivery.

To address these challenges, we introduce KABAN, a QR-Integrated Progressive Web Application designed specifically to modernize resource management and asset circulation in Barangay Banicain.

As a Progressive Web Application (PWA), KABAN is tailored directly to the barangay's administrative workflow. Unlike traditional websites, it can be installed on any device whether it is a smartphone, tablet, or PC and features offline capabilities. This ensures that barangay staff can reliably log resources and track assets even when the internet connection is unstable.

By ensuring every entry and every task is accounted for, KABAN brings smart strategies and real results to local community management. This initiative directly supports global sustainability targets by fostering resilient community infrastructure, promoting responsible resource consumption, and building effective, accountable local institutions.
