🏆 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀! ✨

There are moments when you realize that the late nights, the self-doubt, and the quiet decision to keep going were never wasted.

Today is one of those moments.

I am deeply humbled to share that I’ve advanced through 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮 and am now a 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁. ❤️

When I created my submission, I wasn't chasing flashy visuals or trying to impress everyone. I kept returning to one simple belief:

𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.

The report wasn't just about revenue, football, or analytics. It was about people. About how every click belongs to someone. Every order represents a choice. Every number reflects a life. Because data doesn't move businesses—𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼.

As I worked on every page, I realized something unexpected.
The report became a reflection of my own journey.

Every revision reminded me that growth is rarely spectacular. It's built one small improvement at a time. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 when you struggle to believe in yourself.

This achievement belongs to so many people.

To my mentees, who unknowingly made me a better learner every time I tried to teach.
To the incredible Power BI Community, whose generosity proves that knowledge grows when it's shared.
And to everyone who read my report, left a comment, sent a message, or simply cheered from afar—𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. You became part of this story.

No matter what happens in the finals, this journey has already reminded me why I fell in love with data in the first place.
Not because it helps us explain the past.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Here's to taking one more step.

To God be the Glory!

The world does not need more people pointing out what’s broken. It needs builders who leverage what already works — and balance it toward something better.

This was my key message as I had the honor of serving as mentor and judge at the recent Ideathon spearheaded by AWS Cloud Club - UPHSL, where brilliant Filipino youth from showcased bold ideas to advance some of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — from Good Health to Clean Water, No Poverty, and Food Security.

As a data and tech mentor, I discussed the value of Pitching: The Art of Balance to inspire ideators — but truthfully, I walked away inspired myself. Their creativity, courage, and commitment reminded me that the future really does have a future.

Deep thanks to the organizers, the students, and the ideators for proving that innovation thrives when passion meets purpose.

I had the privilege of being invited by AWS Learning Club - UPHSL as a guest speaker for their 3-week workshop on Data Analytics with — 2 hours every Wednesday (Jan 28, Feb 4, Feb 11, 2026) filled with learning, collaboration, and discovery.

Together, we explored the full journey of data: from cleaning and preparation, to tackling real-world problems, to building impactful dashboards. We dove deep into data visualization, storytelling, and insights, using a dataset that highlights the important topic of social media’s impact on mental health.

It was amazing to see the participants’ curiosity and growth each week. Their energy reminded me that data isn’t just numbers but a powerful tool to tell stories, drive awareness, and create meaningful change.

Thank you AWS Learning Club - UPHSL for the opportunity, and to everyone who joined, keep building, keep questioning, and keep turning data into impact!
