Payroll Administrator (Permanent Work from home)
What you’ll be doing:
* Load, update and maintain new employee information in the payroll software as per their employment agreement
* Update and maintain employee payroll changes (salary, personal details, tax codes, kiwisaver etc), and terminating employees to maintain an accurate database
* Collate and assist in loading payroll data for each payroll into the payroll system in an accurate and effective manner ensuring correct employee information is maintained.
* Assist in producing payroll validation reporting & correspondence with Treasury to upload bank payment to bank
* Ensure employees have access to appropriate Pay Kiosk and respond to any questions regarding payslips by employees
* Respond to general payroll enquiries and requests for information from employees and managers relating to leave entitlements, pay and form completion ensuring appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity is demonstrated

* Participate in payroll related projects when and if required by the Payroll Team Lead
* Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
* Relevant business-related qualification – business administration, office systems, accountancy
* Knowledge gained through previous Philippine payroll processing and legislation
* Knowledge of and interest in New Zealand and Australian payroll processing and legislation would be an advantage. Training will be provided.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience of a computerised payroll system. Experience with iPayroll and Xero systems would be an advantage but is not essential.
* Computer literacy in the Windows environment is essential.
* Experience (to a high level) in standard Microsoft Office applications preferred.
* An understanding of employment collective agreements is desirable.
