Still trying out that new art style. I thought working with simpler shapes would make things easier, but it turns out it still takes a lot of thinking to get the composition right and figure out what should stand out. But thankfully I had a fun subject to work with.

My challenge for today was learning how to simplify while still capturing the essence.

Also starting to think about opening a few pet portrait slots soon. Would you like an artwork of your fur baby? 🐾

Trying something new by sharing a sigil from my own sketchbook.

Most of the sigils I post here are commissioned pieces, but this one came from a personal journal entry last year. I was reflecting on vulnerability and the courage it takes to simply be seen.

“My heart opens. My soul shines.”

Looking back at it now, it felt like a reminder I still needed… so I turned it into an artwork.

Maybe this is the beginning of sharing more of my personal sigils and stories.

This is the Soul Map of a visual representation of his story and the journey he’s walked so far.

Shaped through collaboration, conversations, about symbols and intentions; this became one of my most challenging designs so far, not because of its complexity, but because I wanted to honor his story truthfully and fully.

I’m always so honored for the trust and opportunity to tell people’s stories and I’m so grateful that his story is now etched onto his skin.
