CAS, PTI, or E-Invoice — are they the same thing? 🤔

If your business is already using a Computerized Accounting System (CAS), you may be wondering: “Am I already compliant with the new e-invoicing requirements?”

Under RMC No. 98-2026, covered taxpayers need to secure a Permit to Issue Electronic Invoice (PTI) before issuing electronic invoices.

But there’s an important detail: the policies and guidelines for securing the PTI will be provided through a separate revenue issuance.

While waiting for the detailed guidelines, you can already start preparing:

✅ Review your current invoicing process
✅ Check if your system is ready for electronic invoicing
✅ Identify any changes or adjustments your business may need

CAS, PTI, and E-Invoice serve different purposes. Understanding the difference is a good first step toward getting your business ready.
