Technolab32 Technolab32 is a Solutions Prototyping and Testing Center to harness creativity and Innovation.

Situated at the SMART Tower 32nd floor, it is also a Research and Development Facility for the incubation of new ideas to provide new solutions and future services. Technolab32 aims to create a sustainable environment for innovative services. It is a playground of ideas that will harness the full potential of the PLDT Group to be at the forefront of new technologies and still be the undisputed lea

der in providing breakthrough services and meaningful user experiences to our subscribers serving as its mission while Technolab32 is committed to uphold and sustain the PLDT group’s culture of innovation and excellence as its vision. The facility aims to have the capability to test, develop and produce a prototype for GSM, mobile apps (IOS/Android), emerging technologies and network-based POC w/o relying on live network. It is also a venue where SMARTees can have a glimpse on what technological transformation SMART has undergone leading to what we have right now. The vision of having an Innovation Laboratory started in 2010 with Smart’s Innovation Festival (InnoFest), wherein the clamor for a playground to explore new concepts and technological advancements was felt. The Innovation Center team has been formed to make sure that the vision will be realized. Through the years, we have witnessed Technology is evolving so as the services that comes with it. In these trying times, SMART should also be evolving by accepting the challenge to be at par with current market or even go beyond what’s expected. Innovation Center, thru Technolab32, has successfully immersed itself in the different projects, creating prototypes in support for various new technologies and services. Among its highly successful engagements were the Meralco Prepaid Electricity, NFC/RFID exploration, Android Application Development, mHealth, SHINE, Maynilad Prepaid Water among others.
