Asa maniwang day🤣

But on a serious note, an elevator in a school is more than just a convenience. It supports physical accessibility by helping students with disabilities, injuries, or mobility needs reach their classrooms and other facilities safely and independently.

In our school, teachers and school leaders have elevator access through their IDs. Students are given access only when they have a physical disability, injury, or mobility need.

Not every school has an elevator, but every school should work toward removing physical barriers and providing fair access for every learner.

That is why I am thankful to work in a school that takes accessibility and inclusion seriously. 💙🤍

New school year, new faces, different cultures, and so many hopes for the year ahead. Starting it with a grateful heart, positive energy, and of course… a little Spanish Latte to keep us going🤪

Here’s to a beautiful school year in the UAE, insha’Allah. 🙏🏻🇦🇪

Teaching here in the UAE means being in a classroom full of diversity. Our students come from different cultures and backgrounds: Arabs, Asians, Americans, British, and many more.

As a Filipino teacher coming from a different cultural background myself, it can definitely be challenging. Different personalities, different ways of communicating, different expectations, and VERY different energy levels. 😅😂

But that’s also what makes teaching here so wonderful. You learn to understand children beyond your own culture. You become more flexible, patient, observant, and creative. And the students also learn from one another. The classroom becomes a little world of its own. 🌍

One thing I’ve learned? You have to be proactive ALL THE TIME. 😂 When you have this much diversity, personality, curiosity, and energy in one room, classroom management is not something you do after something happens. You anticipate, redirect, engage, and keep them busy before the chaos even gets a chance. 😅

Challenging? Definitely.
But rewarding and never boring? Absolutely.

And honestly, these kids teach us just as much as we teach them. 🥰🇦🇪🤍

Grateful for a workplace that does not just ask teachers to give their best, but also provides us with the support and supplies we need to do our best.💙🤍🇦🇪

Today’s reminder: you don’t have to figure everything out at once.

Sometimes, you just need fresh air, an open sky, and permission to pause. 🌅🤍

Aside from being a teacher, this is something I genuinely love doing. I enjoy filming everything and taking photos of anything I find beautiful. My camera roll is full of places, food, sunsets, and random little moments.

Now I just need the same energy to post them before I forget they even exist. 😂

Hopefully, I can finally share more of the beauty that has been sitting quietly in my gallery.📸❤️

Here’s an Abu Dhabi sunset hack you’ll want to save. 🤫🌅

Enter through teamLab Phenomena’s main entrance. After the security check, look to the right for the elevator that takes you to Anko, a beautiful Japanese café with a rooftop terrace.

You don’t need a teamLab ticket to visit the café. I came for an iced coffee but stayed for the breathtaking sunset—calm sea views with Abu Dhabi’s skyline glowing in the distance. ☕️✨
