Words of the day!

An Input Device!

What's input device? an input device is a data sent to the computers. An example of this is the keyboard. When you type, the letter you press will be sent to the computer as data and there! you've created an example of "Input Device".

If RAM is full, it uses your storage. Unlike RAM, Fast and act like short-term memory. As for the Storage it acts like your moms collection. It never fades, unless you disrupt it.

πŸ“¦ 1956 – The first hard drive by IBM was the size of a refrigerator... and could only store 5 MB 😳
(That’s barely enough for ONE high-quality photo today!)

βš™οΈ It had spinning disks, needed special cooling, and weighed over 1 ton.

πŸš€ Today – You can store 1,000 GB (or more!) on a chip smaller than your fingernail. No noise. No moving parts. Super fast. πŸ’¨

From a machine room to your pocket β€” storage has come a LONG way. πŸ“±πŸ’»βœ¨

The motherboard is the main circuit board of a computer. It’s like the nervous system or central hub that connects all the components of your computer so they can communicate and work together.

Main Components Connected to the Motherboard:

CPU (Central Processing Unit) – the brain of the computer

RAM (Random Access Memory) – for fast, temporary data storage

Storage (HDD/SSD) – for long-term data storage

GPU (Graphics Card) – for rendering images and video (can be built-in or separate)

Power connectors – to give electricity to all parts

USB, Audio, and Display Ports – for connecting devices like a keyboard, mouse, or monitor

BIOS/UEFI chip – the software that starts your computer before the operating system loads.

Why It’s Important:

Without the motherboard, none of the other parts can communicate or work together. It’s like the body’s spinal cord, where all the nerves (parts) connect and send signals through.

The CPU, or Central Processing Unit, is the brain of a computer. It carries out all the instructions given by programs and controls most of the computer's operations.

Central – it's at the center of everything the computer does

Processing – it processes instructions (like calculations or logic)

Unit – it's a hardware component, a chip

Main Functions:

1. Fetch – Gets instructions from memory

2. Decode – Understands what the instruction means

3. Execute – Performs the task (like math or moving data)

4. Store – Saves the result back in memory if needed
