Winning Logo Description:
The center of the logo prominently captures the six-decade significant milestone of Philippine Psychology, depicting the celebration of its long-standing history and contributions to society (element: number '60' integrated with a diamond symbol that is painted with the Philippine flag colors: blue, red, yellow, and white background).
Crowning the diamond are elements and texts (ie., psi, research, practice) following the theme to underscore the relevance of both research and practice in psychology, reflecting the dedication to sustained outstanding performance in the field.
Completing the center emblem is the diamond star placed at the top end tail of the '6' to symbolize the upward direction of the organization, looking ahead to future trends and scientific advancements and suggesting a forward-thinking and optimistic outlook.
Standing as the firm foundation for the logo are palms together faced upwards, embracing the long years of professional excellence, carrying the stable stature and dignity of the profession, and uplifting the progressive practice of care for the discipline. This element connects to the other two diamond stars to feature once more the profound emphasis of the profession on 'research' and 'practice' movements, and further bridged by a thin crescent shape to represent the transcendence and pertinence of Philippine Psychology across the globe. The holistic positioning and association of elements (i.e., palms, diamond stars, crescent) create a circular structure exhibiting the integration of global trends with local practices and highlighting the unique position of Philippine Psychology in the global context. Ultimately, logo adopts a circular base to accentuate the organization's journey and progress over 60 years, showcasing its continuous growth and key achievements both locally and internationally.
