In its bid to nurture a breed of technical experts specializing in precision machining technology, the Department of Science and Technology through its Metals Industry Research and Development Center (DOST-MIRDC) announces applications for the training on Computer Numerically-Controlled (CNC) Machine Tool Programming and Operation. The MIRDC seeks to empower the metal-engineering sector and allied
industries through spearheading trainings on professional management and technical expertise, trade certification services, quality control and testing of metal products, and research and development. The project “Human Resource Intervention for the Sustainable Growth and Competitiveness of the M & E Sector: Development and Implementation of Appropriate Training Curriculum Design for CNC Machine Tool Programming and Operations” enables to develop an effective training program design to guarantee that adept professionals are made available to meet the human resource requirements of the metalworking industry.
