🎭🇵🇭 What happens when a nation forgets its heroes?
RIZAL 3000, written and directed by Vincent M. Tañada, offers a powerful and thought-provoking look at the legacy of our national hero, Dr. José Rizal, through a futuristic story that reminds us why history matters.
One of my biggest takeaways from this play is that forgetting our history means risking the loss of our identity as Filipinos. Rizal’s ideas about freedom, education, truth, and love for our country remain relevant even as the world changes. It also reminds us to think critically, question what we are told, and never take our freedom for granted.
More than just a theatrical performance, RIZAL 3000 is a reminder that patriotism is not only about remembering our heroes but also about living by the values they fought for. 🇵🇭✨
Because the future of our nation depends on how well we remember and learn from our past.
