Have you tried cold emailing, only to spend thousands of dollars with little to show for it? You might end up getting blocked by email platforms like ActiveCampaign, SendGrid, Klaviyo, and others.
Cold emailing is actually quite simpleβ¦
Letβs focus on B2B for now, as B2C requires a different approach for converting clients.
To start with cold emailing, all you need is a verified work email from Namecheap or your preferred platform for less than $5.
So, whatβs next?
Go to Google Maps, Craigslist, or any business listing website, and scrape their websites.
A few important tips:
1. For the first few weeks, limit your email sending to 10 emails per day.
2. Before sending an email, research the company thoroughly. How you craft your message should be based on your understanding of their business.
For example, donβt say, βHi, I saw your great reviews and was impressed,β if they donβt have any reviews yet.
Once youβve sent the email, wait. Check on the second day, and if thereβs no reply, revise and follow up on the third day. Keep following up until you get a response.
Remember, getting that first response is already a win.
The next step is to save the successful templates you used to win more clients.
And thatβs how you generate leads with cold emailing.
