Today is Kuya David's birthday.
And honestly — we didn't know how to show up for this day. We still don't, not fully. Grief doesn't come with a guide. It just sits with you, some days heavier than others, and today is one of the heavy ones.
Klout Creative exists because of two people. And one of them is no longer here.
Kuya David wasn't just a teammate. He was the other half of this — the person who believed in what we were building before it was even built. The one who showed up, quietly and consistently, even when things were uncertain. He didn't just contribute to Klout. In so many ways, he was Klout.
Losing him didn't just leave a gap in the agency. It left a gap that no rebrand, no new client, no milestone will ever fully fill.
But here's what I know —
He didn't build this with me just for it to stop.
So Klout Creative will continue. Not because it's easy. Not because I'm okay. But because I made a promise — to him, to what we started, to everything he put into this.
Every design we put out, every client we show up for, every caption we write — that's for him too. That will always be for him.
Happy birthday, Kuya David. 🖤
Thank you for being the reason this exists.
