Well, that was without question the most entertaining feature presentation we've had in a while! 😂🎄

Summer from A Splash of Summer took the floor at BNI Tauranga Harbour, and rather than your standard slideshow, she gave us all a "Naughty or Nice" list. Every single chapter member. Based on one simple question: how often are you actually posting on social media?

Let's just say there were a few nervous laughs in the room. 👀

Summer is a full-service graphic designer based right here in Tauranga, specialising in branding, websites, print design, and - fittingly - social media marketing. Her message was clear and, frankly, brilliant: if you're not showing up consistently online, you're invisible to the very people who need to find you. Strong branding and regular posting aren't optional extras anymore; they're the difference between being remembered and being forgotten.

I’m back from maternity leave… apparently.
Because when you own your own business, “leave” is really just “replying to emails at 2am with a baby on your chest.”

Jokes aside—this season has been a blur of newborn cuddles, broken sleep, and somehow still designing, and showing up for existing clients in between it all.

Now I’m officially stepping back into work mode again and I’m so ready to be creating, designing, and helping businesses level up their brand, social media, and website design.
