Celebrating Women in Game Development 🌷

International Women’s Day was last weekend, and we’re still reflecting on the moments that made it special for our team. Across our offices, we marked the occasion with our traditional internal gatherings - a chance to appreciate the incredible women in our teams and the impact they make every day 🚀

At Mytona, 44% of our team are women - about 20% higher than the global game industry average. What makes this especially meaningful is that this balance has developed naturally over time 👏🏻

We also enjoy contributing to the wider women community. Last year we hosted a Women in Game Development event in Auckland, bringing together talented professionals to share experiences, exchange ideas, and connect. We look forward to creating more spaces where women in our industry can support and learn from one another 💖

Our team recently gathered in Bangkok for the first offline meetings of 2026. Since we usually work in a remote-first format, it was extra exciting to finally meet in person — brainstorming new ideas, planning the months ahead, and preparing some exciting features for our beloved players 🥳❤️

We've just wrapped up our very first Bootcamp 2025 internship at our Thailand office! 👏

Over the past two months, students from Bangkok University took part in an intensive learning journey, working on their own game projects while gaining insights into game design, analytics, marketing, and more. Our team was glad to share their experience, and we’re genuinely impressed by the creativity and dedication these young talents brought to the table. The games they developed are truly inspiring! ✨

Wishing our graduates successful games releases and bright career opportunities! It was a pleasure to support the next generation of game developers and contribute to the growing industry in Thailand🙏
