Sometimes a little time invested in tech support can reap real rewards💰

This week alone, I discovered one client had a stash of AirPoints she didn't realise she could spend. Two cases of wine are now on their way to her! 🍷

Another client had been paying well over the odds for a landline, cellphone and internet. A few changes later, she will be saving more than $1000 a year 🎉

If you've been wondering whether a session with me is worth it, I'd say the answer is yes.

*I can't promise I will find these savings for you!

On Monday I presented my “Frustrated with your Phone?” talk to a full house at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village — it was fantastic to share practical tips to help people take control of their phones instead of letting the technology control them! 📱😊

Today’s client brought an exciting new challenge my way - she’s an author looking to self-publish her children's book online.
She’s vision impaired and currently only uses a cellphone, so I’ll be supporting her to get everything set up.

It was such a pleasure meeting her, and I’m really looking forward to working through this journey together!

🚨 Scam Alert for Air New Zealand Customers 🚨

Neighbourly has shared a warning about a rise in text and email scams targeting Air NZ customers.

✈️ What’s happening?
Scammers are sending messages saying your Airpoints Dollars are about to expire or urging you to redeem rewards urgently.

🎯 Their goal:
To trick you into clicking a link and entering your personal or banking details on a fake website.

🔎 How to spot it:
These scam sites can look very real—almost identical to the official Airpoints store.
Known fake domains include:
• airpoints.cc
• airpointsdollars.cc
• airpoints-dollars.cc
• airpoints-rewards.click

🛡️ How to protect yourself:
✔️ Always log in through the official Air NZ app or website
❌ Never click links from unexpected texts or emails
⚠️ If it feels urgent or “off” — trust your instincts

🚑 If you’ve already clicked or entered details:
• Contact your bank immediately
• Change your Air NZ password
• Report it via Air New Zealand’s Cyber Security page

Stay safe and feel free to share this to help others 👍
