🏁From watching the action to driving it🏁

We had Ashton back in this weekend to complete his next two Sim To Reality rounds, and he’s continuing to put together some solid laps! 👏🏼

At 12 years old, Ashton is no stranger to Ruapuna Speedway. Whether it’s watching the racing or helping out in the pits, he’s spent plenty of time around the sport and has a real passion for motorsport.

Now he’s taking the next step and putting those racing observations into practice behind the wheel, developing his skills one session at a time. 🏎️💨

It’s been awesome to see the variety of kids entering Sim To Reality this year. Some come from racing families, others are completely new to the sport, but they all get the same opportunity to learn, improve, and compete.

We’re still looking for more young drivers aged 8–15 to join Sim To Reality Season 2 for their chance to WIN a fully supported 2026/27 1/4 Midget season at Ruapuna Speedway.

🎥 WHAT A DAY! 🏁

Yesterday we had the awesome team from Yeah'Nah Content crew through Outlaw Simulators HQ in Kaiapoi, and what an experience it was!

The cameras were rolling, the challenge was set, and there was plenty of competition throughout the time had. We can’t wait to see how it all comes together when the episode drops! 👀

A huge thank you to the Yeah’Nah crew for spending the evening with us. The four lads who came through were an absolute pleasure to host! Professional, talented, easy going, and genuinely great people. It was awesome getting a behind the scenes look at the work that goes into creating their content.

We’re incredibly excited to see how the episode turns out and can’t wait to share it with everyone!

🏁 Sibling Rivalry Hits Eldora 🏁

It was awesome to have Niko and Leila from Harper Racing Team/Speedway make the trip all the way from Nelson to check out the simulators.

They certainly didn’t come just for a look either… 👀

Niko put together some seriously quick laps and drove his way to the top of the June Sprintcars @ Eldora leaderboard, while Leila wasn’t far behind, bringing it home in 3rd place! 🔥

Safe to say racing talent runs in the family.

Thanks for stopping in team, and good luck to everyone trying to chase down those lap times! 🏆

🏁 One for the future… 🏁

While big brother Adam was busy tackling his Sim To Reality sessions, Noah was hard at work putting in some laps of his own.

He’s not quite old enough to enter Sim To Reality Season 2, but that hasn’t stopped him from starting his preparation early! 👀

Noah is one of those kids who is always asking questions, eager to learn, and determined to improve his lap times while having a blast!

At this rate, we have a feeling he’ll be ready to make some noise when Season 3 rolls around. 🔥🏎️

🏁One familiar face, one new challenger🏁

Adam returned for another crack at Sim To Reality after competing in Season 1, and this year he brought his mate Sam along to join the challenge too! 🔥

The boys got stuck straight into their first sessions, comparing lap times and putting in the work early.

Racing clearly runs in the family too, with Sam’s dad currently competing in Sprint Cars at Ruapuna Speedway. 👀🏎️

The Yeah'Nah content team have the need for speed! 🏁

This weekend we're heading out to film Episode 10 featuring Outlaw Simulators !!!!

But what is an OutlawSim? 🤔

Taking inspiration from the famous World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in America, an OutlawSim is about as close as you can get to climbing behind the wheel of a 900hp Sprintcar without actually hitting the dirt track.

Their state-of-the-art simulators put you right in the driver's seat and let you experience exactly what it's like to wrestle one of these beasts around a dirt oval.... 😅

Of course, we've got a challenge lined up for the Yeah'Nah team... 👀

Fastest lap takes the bragging rights.

Slowest lap? Well... let's just say there's a punishment waiting for them 😅
