A gift is something you receive without earning it. It's the favour bestowed upon you, the spark, or a natural pull you carry that you didn't necessarily have to work for. Some people get influence. Some get presence. Some get natural leadership. These things arrive unearned.

However, fruitfulness is different. It's the outcome of your discipline, your habits, your sacrifice, your decisions. It's what your life produces over time. You don't inherit it. You build it. There's nothing wrong with having a gift. But relying only on your gift is a fast road to stagnation. Charisma can open doors, but only fruitfulness keeps them open.
