AUSTRAC has begun issuing notices to businesses that appear to be providing designated services but have not enrolled.

The notices are being issued across newly regulated sectors, including real estate, accounting, legal and precious metals and stones, requiring businesses to provide information so AUSTRAC can determine whether they are providing regulated services and meeting their AML/CTF obligations.
