Job Title: Mid-Level Network Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer to support, operate, and enhance our datacenter and enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, performance, and security across network systems, with hands-on involvement in routing, switching, firewall management, and troubleshooting in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and datacenter network infrastructure
• Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, static routing)
• Configure, monitor, and support firewall solutions, especially Fortinet firewalls and Check Point.
• Support IPsec VPNs, site-to-site and remote access connectivity
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues
• Ensure network high availability, redundancy, and failover mechanisms
• Work closely with system, security, and cloud teams on infrastructure projects
• Support network security best practices, including access control and segmentation
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
• Participate in planned maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities
• Provide L2/L3 support for datacenter and enterprise network issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or datacenter environments
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network fundamentals
• Experience with enterprise switches and routers (Cisco or similar vendors)
• Practical experience in firewall configuration and troubleshooting
• Good troubleshooting skills with a structured and logical approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
• CCNA certification (mandatory or highly preferred)
• Fortinet certification (NSE 4 or above is a strong plus)
• Experience working in datacenter or ISP environments or vendors.
• Exposure to high availability (HA), redundancy, and load balancing concepts
• Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or private cloud)
• Experience with monitoring tools and SIEM integrations
