In times of crisis, our strength lies in standing together.

The recent floods and landslides have affected communities across Nepal, with many families facing difficulties accessing basic necessities. Now is the time for us to come together and extend our support.

The student communities and clubs at NCIT are coming together to organize a Relief Supply Collection Drive to help affected communities. We encourage everyone to contribute essential supplies that can make a real difference.

We are collecting essential relief supplies including food, drinking water, clothes and blankets, hygiene products, medicines, and other necessities. No monetary donations, only relief supplies.

Please make sure clothes are new or clean and in good condition. Food donations should be unopened, non-perishable, and within their expiry date.

📅 31st August onwards
🕙 10 AM – 5 PM
📍 Computer Department, Room No. 122, NCIT

Your contribution, no matter the size, can provide much needed support to someone affected by this crisis.

Let’s come together as the NCIT community and extend our hands to those who need them most.

Decades of experience, passed on to the next generation of builders!

We successfully concluded our session, "The Problem Kubernetes Was Built to Solve," where our community had the privilege of learning from Puru Tuladhar, whose years of experience in cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes were distilled into lessons that every aspiring builder could understand and apply.

Rather than starting with commands or configurations, the session began with the bigger picture: why Kubernetes exists, the challenges it was designed to solve, and how it became the backbone of modern container orchestration. By understanding the problem first, participants walked away with a much stronger foundation for everything they'll build next.

A heartfelt thank you to Puru Tuladhar for generously sharing your knowledge. Your ability to simplify complex concepts made this session truly easy to follow.

We're also grateful to our community partner, Open Source ASCOL Circle (OSAC), for collaborating with us and helping us reach even more learners.

And finally, thank you to everyone who joined us, and made the session engaging. Communities grow when knowledge is shared, and this session was a perfect reminder of that.

Here's to learning from those who've paved the way and inspiring the next generation of builders, one session at a time.

Every technology exists to solve a problem—and Kubernetes is no exception.

Join us as Puru Tuladhar, a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, breaks down the why behind Kubernetes before diving into the how. In this session, we will explore why Kubernetes became necessary, what challenges existed before Kubernetes, and how it helps teams manage modern applications at scale. This session is designed especially for students, beginners, and builders who want to understand Kubernetes from the foundation instead of directly jumping into complex concepts.

Whether you are new to containers, cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes, this session will help you build a clear mental model of why Kubernetes matters in today’s cloud-native world.

From one builder community to many, this session was all about sharing opportunities beyond borders.

We successfully wrapped up "All Builders Welcome Grant Explained: Requirements, Do's & Don'ts," bringing together around 40 builders from different AWS Student Builder Groups to learn about the AWS All Builders Welcome Grant and how to prepare a strong application.

This event was made even more special through our cross-border community collaboration, where AWS Student Builder Groups came together with a shared goal of helping more students discover this incredible opportunity. It's inspiring to see communities supporting one another and creating a larger impact together.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing community partners for collaborating with us, sharing the event within your communities, and helping us reach aspiring builders across different countries. Your support made this initiative possible.

A special thank you to Lajah Shrestha, AWS All Builders Welcome Grant 2025 recipient, for sharing your journey, valuable insights, practical tips, and answering everyone's questions with such enthusiasm. Your experiences gave attendees a clearer understanding of the application process and inspired many to take the next step.

And finally, thank you to everyone who joined us. Your curiosity, participation, and questions made this session engaging.
