We truly enjoyed the energy the MBA students at Embark College brought into the simulation session; their participation, engagement, strategies, perspectives, and discussions made the entire learning experience even more meaningful.

What made this session special was the way students entered the simulation with curiosity, confidence, and real business exposure. Many were already familiar with business through work, startups, family businesses, or entrepreneurial interests, which made the conversations and decisions even richer.

Through CYAN’s business simulation, students were placed inside an immersive decision-making environment where they had to experience business choices under pressure, in action. The session moved through a continuous cycle of:

➢ Decisions
➢ Visible consequences
➢ Strategy adjustment
➢ Uncertainty
➢ Reflection
➢ Iterations.

The goal was to create a learning experience where they could apply their thinking, feel the trade-offs, and connect their real-world exposure with structured business decision-making.

This is where simulation becomes powerful.

It gives learners a safe space to experience complexity, make mistakes, see outcomes, and build confidence before those decisions happen in the real world.

At CYAN Innovations, we are building immersive learning experiences where students participate, decide, reflect, and experience how business actually works.

One quest. 28 teams. 90 minutes.

Entirely different ways of imagining what could be.

That is what stayed with us from Make-a-thon 2026. Part competition, part collaboration, and above all, a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when designers, mentors, and builders create together.

Communities like Friends of Figma, Kathmandu are essential for bringing like-minded people together to exchange ideas, discover opportunities, understand different mindsets and cultures, and build confidence to compete globally.

- Nepal does not lack talent; what we often miss is access, exposure, confidence, and the right platforms to demonstrate what our people can achieve.

- Seeing the teams create such remarkable solutions together in just 90 minutes proved that potential. With the right tools, meaningful exchanges, and consistent opportunities, we believe Nepal’s designers can overcome these barriers and meet global standards.

- Community-building is difficult, but it remains one of the most powerful ways to strengthen our creative workforce and create lasting progress.

Across 200+ simulation runs, players immersed themselves in unique experiences, tested their strategies, learned from the outcomes, and returned ready to make better decisions.

EU Youth Fest by the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal EU Delegation to Nepal brought together young minds for a vibrant celebration of innovation, technology, mentorship, and experiential learning on International Youth Day on 12 August 2026. The event was further distinguished by the presence of H.E. Veronique Lorenzo veroniquelorenzo , Ambassador of the European Union to Nepal.

CYAN Innovations hosted The Retailer Dilemma, an AI-powered interactive business simulation that challenged participants to navigate realistic business scenarios and make strategic decisions with the support of Swisscontact .

More than 200 young people participated in the simulation, strengthening their decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills through hands-on learning.

We conducted a hands-on Supply Chain Management Simulation at Embark College, delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education.
