Reality Check about Boss Pedals!
Only thing I disagree with is:
A buffer should not be at the start of your pedal chain!
It should be at the end of the chain!

Everybody has a bad thing to say about Boss Pedals. Here's my view on them....

Just one year after Grady Martin's "The Fuzz", Gibson (under the label Maestro) recreated his sound with the first effect pedal ever produced:
The Maestro Fuzz-Tone FZ-1.
