Did you know that Murlong Cres. started as a university project?

I studied graphic design and for our final project we had to start a business (not a real one, of course). For some reason I decided I wanted to start a fashion brand. I had zero experience with sewing and fashion.

I quickly realized I couldn't afford samples and had no idea how to work with a factory, so I took matters into my own hands. I taught myself how to sew through YouTube tutorials and an old borrowed sewing machine from the 1970s.

That was in 2018…
