HIGH END Vienna 2026 gave us four days to demonstrate HMS Elektronik in an environment where every detail of a system matters.

It was also an opportunity to exchange ideas, share technical expertise, meet partners, press and audio enthusiasts from around the world.

Developed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of HMS Elektronik, the Gran Finale 50 Series represents the culmination of our pursuit of signal integrity.

Its story reaches back to the original Gran Finale Series of the 1990s. For Gran Finale 50, that heritage has been carried forward with new materials and construction methods developed for today's highly revealing audio systems.

A signal does not travel in isolation.

Throughout an audio system, it is surrounded by potential sources of interference. RFI, EMI and static-induced noise can all compromise the integrity of the information being transferred.

This is where shielding becomes essential.

With Armonia Carbon, HMS takes a different approach to interference suppression. Building on decades of experience in shielding technology, the series uses sophisticated carbon-infused constructions instead of relying solely on traditional ferrite-based filtering.

These structures are engineered to absorb and dissipate unwanted electrical noise, helping the signal remain as unaffected as possible throughout the audio chain.

The third and final day of the Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show 2026 started quietly, but it certainly didn't stay that way. As the day progressed, visitors continued to arrive and our room once again became so busy that there was barely space left to enter.

A highlight of the day was the presentation by Joey Ho from Audiotechnique 音響技術, who guided visitors through a diverse selection of Chinese music and album releases. By moving between different musical genres, the session demonstrated how the system responds to the individual character and demands of each recording.

HMS technology could also be experienced elsewhere at the show. In Richcoln Room S429, HMS cables connected a system bringing together components from Unison Research, Opera Loudspeakers, SME Ltd. and Lector, demonstrating how signal integrity remains fundamental across different high-end audio configurations.

Three days in Hong Kong gave us the opportunity to share our approach to cable engineering with an incredibly engaged audience.

Another inspiring day at the Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show 2026.

Together with our trusted Hong Kong partner, Richcoln Home Entertainment Centre, we welcomed another full day of visitors to Room S424, with plenty of interest in the HMS cable and power-filter technologies on display.

A highlight of the day was a special listening presentation by Paul Leung from Audiotechnique 音響技術. Through a selection of Chinese songs, album releases and music spanning different genres, Paul demonstrated how the complete system responds to the different demands and characteristics of each recording.

For HMS, this is exactly where engineering becomes tangible. Our cables are designed to preserve signal integrity throughout the audio chain, allowing the system to reproduce the information, dynamics and musical character contained within every recording.
