REpost

REpost REcycle your textile poster into a useful product and thereby REpost your work! You already pay to reserve a space, and more to print the poster.

Imagine putting at least three days in designing and making a scientific poster, which you will use to present your research at a conference. Then, the day finally arrives and you hang the poster early in the morning at your location. During the day not much happens. People go to other readings, have lunch, and finally, around 4 in the afternoon people start to fill the hall, to come and watch the

poster presentations. Turns out you are not the only one. There are more than 500 other posters and researchers stealing your show. And two or three hours later you have told three people about your research, and you are expected to remove the poster again. What a waste of time and material! We will change this. Instead of throwing away your precious work after using it three hours effectively, you will be able to REpost your work. For example a laptop bag, or a funny tie. This will give you exactly that possibility you want, namely, to keep using and showing, and thus REposting your research.

Thanks Rolf Hut, for mentioning REpost Science in your blog! Want to read it too?

The Problem Probably all PhD students face this problem in their career: the poster presentation, and bringing the poster with you to the conference. This usually means you need one of those poster tubes to keep your poster all neat until the poster session. Not too bad if you are going to a local c...
