While a CV (Curriculum Vitae) is a comprehensive document that details your entire career journey, including education, research, publications, awards, and more, often multiple pages, and is typically used for academic, research, or international positions.

They perform similar functions (showcasing your experience and qualifications) but they are essentially NOT the same.

Always know which one is expected before applying. Sending a CV when a resume is required (or vice versa) can cost you the opportunity.

You open your eyes at 3:17 a.m. and you’re already smiling.

That’s the first sign.

Not because the alarm went off.
Not because you “have to.”
But because the thing waiting for you on the other side of the bed feels more like a lover than an obligation.

Most people never get there.
They treat passion like a lottery ticket they forgot to check:
“Maybe one day. Maybe when the kids are older. Maybe after this next promotion.”
Meanwhile the years slip by in quiet resignation.

But when you finally line your days up with the one thing that makes time irrelevant, everything changes.

Work stops feeling like work.
Risk stops feeling reckless; it feels inevitable.
Failure stops being a verdict and becomes raw material.

You’ll still get tired.
You’ll still doubt yourself at 2 a.m. when the numbers don’t add up or the critics get loud.
But even the exhaustion has a different texture; it’s the good kind, the kind that comes from spending yourself completely on something that matters.

So here’s the only question that actually counts:

When was the last time you lost track of time doing something that didn’t feel like “should”?

That thing.
Whatever it is (painting at midnight, coding until sunrise, coaching kids who’ll never pay you back, writing sentences no one may ever read); that thing is the trailhead.

Follow it.

Not next year.
Not when you’re “ready.”
Not when it’s safe or convenient or fully funded.

Right now, in whatever cracked-open margin you can steal from the day, follow it.

Because the distance between a life you endure and a life you can’t get enough of is usually just one honest yes spoken to yourself in the dark.

So tell me (no judgment, no audience, just between us):

And what’s the very next move you could make next week that would prove; to the only person who really needs convincing; that you’re finally serious about it?

What If I told you the secret to a more meaningful and successful career is not about collecting business cards, but about building genuine relationships.

Connect with people on a deeper level, do not just network. It is time to shift your focus from WHAT can you get from someone to WHAT can you give.
People are tired of being treated like a means to an end, they want to be treated like friends, like confidants, like PEOPLE.

The word 'networking' has become synonymous with using people for personal gain, but I say it is time to redefine that. Let us start a new movement, a movement that is based on mutual respect, trust and open communication.
I want you to think about the people you have met recently, are you treating them like a stepping stone or are you taking the time to really get to know them, to understand their struggles and their aspirations.

So the next time you meet someone new, remember it is about connecting with them, not just adding another contact to your list.
