TODAY I MET EXCEL πŸ˜…πŸ“Š

At TechTan Hub, today's teaching was: Getting Started with Excel.

I learnt about the Excel Interface, its key parts, the differences between a Workbook and Worksheet and how rows, columns, ribbons & tabs, cells and some functions actually fit together.

At first, I was blank while looking at Excel in my laptop... I was like, "Where do I even start from?" My tutor really did a great job. She made me understand the language of Excel. I'm not perfect yet but I've understood the concepts of Excel.

Today was Day 2 of becoming comfortable with Data and I'm thrilled to see where this journey leads.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀Y I STARTED 𝐒𝐄EING DA𝐓𝐀 πƒπˆπ…π…π„π‘π„NTLYπŸ‘€

Today, I officially began my training in Data Analytics at TechTan Hub and truthfully, I had a swell time.
I used to think data was just ordinary numbers, figures and percentages that is bent on stressing someone but I discovered I had the wrong mindset.
The foundation was properly laid and we were taught; What data means, different types of data, how data can be classified by structure, what Data Analytics really mean, data analytics process and the differences between Data Analysis and Data Analytics. We learnt the four types of Data Analytics which are:
1. Descriptive: What happened?
2. Diagnostic: Why did it happen?
3. Predictive: What is likely to happen?
4. Prescriptive: What should we do about it?

I also got introduced to the tool used in this field such as Excel, Power Bi, SQL and Python.

Today was just introduction. There are formulas to learn. There are tools for me to master and there will be moments of practicals when I'll look at my self and ask myself " Who sent you here?"πŸ˜‚ but I'm ready to learn, grow and stretch.

Today, I didn't just learn about data.

Today, I started seeing data differently.
πŸ“Š

πŸ₯‚ to becoming a Data Analyst.✨✨
