Two years ago, we were building KD Squares from a small office in Port Harcourt with big ideas and no guarantee anyone would care.

Last year, HackerNoon named us Startup of the Year 2024 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
But here's what the award didn't show: the client who said automation would never work for them, until it saved their team 3 days of work a month. The training cohort where a young woman from a rural area became a no-code systems engineer and landed her first international client. The sleepless nights debugging workflows nobody else in Nigeria was even building yet.

We didn't win because we were lucky. We won because we refused to separate building talent from solving real business problems.

Honoured. Humbled. And more committed than ever.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Chairman and Executive Director, Mr. Kelvin Sampson Fubara , was recognised and presented with an award by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Waidi Shaibu, at the 2026 Nigerian Army Day Celebration and Exhibition (NADCEL) — held on Sunday, 5th July 2026.

This recognition didn’t happen in isolation. It came on a day the Nigerian Army chose to serve — conducting a free medical outreach for residents of Okrika community in Rivers State. A day that reminded all of us why leadership that gives back matters.

Mr Fubara has always believed that true impact lives where business, community, and service intersect. This award is a testament to that vision — and a charge to go further.
