We were honored to host the Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Bernard M. Doro, for a special night tour of the Imo Digital City in Owerri!

From the Robotics Hub and the state-of-the-art Call Centre to the advanced AI Learning Centre, the Minister saw firsthand how we are building a world-class tech ecosystem right here in Imo State.

Yesterday, we visited the SkillUp Imo Centre at Imo State University, and it was inspiring to witness hundreds of young people showing up, learning, asking questions, practicing new skills, and taking deliberate steps toward a better future.

Every computer screen, every classroom discussion, and every practical session was a reminder that digital skills are no longer optional, they are opportunities waiting to be explored.

SkillUp Imo is doing more than teaching technology; it's opening doors, building confidence, and equipping young people with skills that can create jobs, businesses, and global opportunities.

To every trainee putting in the effort daily, keep going. The knowledge you gain today could become the opportunity that changes your life tomorrow.

The future belongs to those who prepare for it, and it's exciting to see so many Imo youths doing exactly that.
