TechPro Institute Nigeria Awards Fire-Eyes Team at Fountain University Halal Economy Hackathon 2026.

TechPro Institute Nigeria has strengthened its role in Nigeria’s emerging innovation ecosystem with a strategic appearance at the Fountain University Halal Economy Hackathon 2026, held as part of the institution’s Convocation Programme.

Representing TechPro Institute Nigeria, the General Manager, Oladuntoye Mojeed Oluwaseun, presented the First Position Award to the Fire-Eyes Project Team, winners of the *Osun Tech Exchange 2.0 Exhibition.

The Hackathon brought together the Vice-Chancellor, university management, faculty members, innovators, and students*, focusing on technology-driven solutions for the Halal economy while promoting entrepreneurship, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.

Earlier in the year, TechPro Institute Nigeria convened *Osun Tech Exchange 2.0*, a state-wide technology exhibition and innovation summit that featured participation from over *seven tertiary institutions across Osun State.*

The platform was created to move students beyond classroom theory into hands-on innovation, teamwork, and solution development.

It was during this exhibition that the *Fire-Eyes Project Team* emerged as the overall first-place winners, impressing judges with a solution recognized for its technical depth, clarity of thought, and practical relevance.

Speaking at the Hackathon, Oladuntoye Mojeed Oluwaseun emphasized TechPro’s mission to prepare students for real opportunities in the tech and digital economy.

“_At TechPro Institute Nigeria, we do not just teach skills — we build competence, confidence, and career readiness_,” *he said*.
“_Innovation does not start after graduation. It starts with curiosity, discipline, consistency, and solving real problems early.”_

He encouraged students to take advantage of innovation platforms, work collaboratively, and begin building solutions while still in school.

TechPro Institute Nigeria commended *Fountain University* for its commitment to innovation through initiatives like the Halal Economy Hackathon and acknowledged the support of the *Vice-Chancellor , Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim and university management* in creating an enabling environment for student creativity and excellence.

The award presentation reflects TechPro’s broader vision of strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and students. Through initiatives such as Osun Tech Exchange, TechPro training programs, and the proposed TechPro Clubs, the institute continues to build sustainable pathways for talent development, internships, and startup incubation.

The recognition of the Fire-Eyes team marks another milestone in TechPro Institute Nigeria’s commitment to nurturing ideas that scale beyond classrooms into impactful, real-world solutions.
