SDG Office, under the Office of Governor Ademola Adeleke, is partnering with Federal Government and Fluid Click Solutions Limited on a World Bank-funded IDEAS, (NYESAF) ‘Project to train 100 beneficiaries in Network System Installation (Digital Skills Training) across Osun State.

Programme Details Duration: 6 months
• 3 months of intensive hands-on training and certification
• ⁠3 months of internship and industry experience

Cost: 100% FREE (fully funded by the World Bank
Focus Areas: Employability, entrepreneurship, and high-demand digital skills
SDGs Covered: Quality Education, Decent Work, and Innovation Venue: SDG Centre, Dagbolu

Deputy Majority Leader of Osun State House of Assembly Partners with SDG Office to Empower 250 Citizens in Irepodun/Orolu

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Prince Adekunle Oladimeji, .adekunleoladimeji in partnership with the Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on SDGs, Mr. Banks Omishore, , has successfully trained 250 citizens in a Free Skill Acquisition & Empowerment Programme held at the SDG Skills Acquisition Center, Dagbolu.

The initiative Hon. Adekunle Skills Acquisition Initiative 2025 promotes self-reliance and job creation among residents of Irepodun/Orolu Constituency, regardless of age, gender, or political affiliation.

The First Cohort Training Program organized by the Office of the Special Adviser on SDGs and Multilateral Relations, under the leadership of Hon. Bamikole Omishore , in collaboration with Skill Afrika kicked off today at the fully equipped SDG Facility, Dagbolu, Osun State.

Participants were introduced to the first step of Front-End Web Development, HTML and guided to write basic beginner codes, which they successfully executed. Alongside this, they will be actively engaged in practical sessions across No-Code Tools and Product Design (UI/UX), gaining valuable knowledge and hands-on experience.

This initiative directly aligns with SDG Goal 4: Quality Education and reflects the commitment of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke whose strong interest in technology and innovation continues to drive youth empowerment across Osun State.

We commend the commitment of all participants and encourage them to maintain the same level of dedication throughout the program as we work together to equip Osun youths with the skills required to thrive in a knowledge-driven economy.
