🎥💙 HELP US CHANGE A CHILD’S STORY 💙🎥

Every child deserves to be seen…
Every child deserves to be understood…
Every child deserves a chance.

But for many children with autism, that chance never comes.

Some cannot speak…
Some struggle to connect…
Some are misunderstood, labeled, and left behind —
not because they cannot learn,
but because no one understood them early enough.

But with early awareness and the right support, everything can change. ✨
A child can grow.
A child can learn.
A child can shine.

On April 2, 2026, we are bringing hope to families in Akwa Ibom State through Spark A Spectrum — a FREE Autism Awareness & Developmental Screening Programme in Oron.

This initiative will:
✔ Support children
✔ Guide parents
✔ Create awareness in our communities

But we cannot do this alone.

We need your support to provide:

📄 Printing of awareness materials
🎁 Gifts and activity supplies

This is a 100% volunteer-driven initiative — no fees, no profit, just impact.

🌈💙 A TRUE STORY OF HOPE – AUTISM IS NOT THE END 💙🌈

A little boy named Chinedu was born just like every other child.

But as he grew, his parents noticed something different…
He did not speak like other children.
He avoided eye contact.
He preferred to be alone.

People started talking…
Some said he was “slow.”
Some said he was “stubborn.”
Others even said things that broke his mother’s heart 💔

But his mother refused to give up.

One day, she met someone who told her:
👉 “Your child is not stubborn. Your child needs understanding.”

That was the turning point.

Chinedu was taken for a developmental screening.
His parents began to learn how to support him.
His teachers became more patient.

Slowly… things began to change.

Today, that same boy who could not speak clearly…
✨ Can now communicate
✨ Can learn
✨ Can smile and connect

He is not “less” — he is just different 💙

💭 What if his parents never knew?
💭 What if no one guided them?

That is why this awareness matters.

Many children in our communities are misunderstood…
Not because they cannot grow —
But because no one has helped them yet.

🚨 Did You Know?

Over 70% of people in Akwa Ibom State may not fully understand what Autism is — and many families are struggling in silence.

Autism is not a curse.
Autism is not bad parenting.
Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a child communicates, interacts, learns, and behaves.

Every child with autism is unique. Some may speak a lot, some may not speak at all. Some may be very intelligent but struggle socially.

💙 Common Signs of Autism in Children:

• Delayed speech or no speech
• Avoids eye contact
• Does not respond to their name
• Prefers to play alone
• Repeats words or actions often
• Sensitive to sounds, light, or touch
• Difficulty understanding emotions

The earlier a child is identified, the earlier support can begin.
And early support makes a BIG difference.

Let us come together as one community to protect and support our young ones.
