This is what building looks like. Today the Nnewi Tech Meetup brought together hundreds of Ndi Igbo from across the Southeast to demonstrate that our tech ecosystem is not a concept but a living breathing reality. From Awka to Awada to Nnewi and beyond, our people showed up to learn, connect, and build.

We officially highlighted the Future Ready AI Program during today's gathering and the response confirmed what we already knew: Ndi Igbo are ready for the next frontier of technology. The program will equip our community with artificial intelligence skills that will position us as leaders in the global digital economy. This is not just training, this is a movement to ensure our people are not left behind.

What made today special was the diversity of the crowd. Students, business owners, professionals, and aspiring founders all in one room sharing one vision. This is what Ndi Igbo excellence looks like when we decide to build together. No one is coming to build it for us. We are the ones we have been waiting for.

The journey continues and your role in it matters. Register for the Future Ready AI Program and be part of the next wave of Ndi Igbo tech builders. Share this vision with someone who needs to hear it. The future is being built right now and you belong in it.

The biggest tech gathering in the South East is tomorrow.

Ndi Igbo, tomorrow Saturday May 23, the Nnewi Tech Meetup brings together the entire technology ecosystem of our region under one roof. This is not a lecture. This is a working session where ideas become plans and plans become products. From software engineers to hardware tinkerers, from aspiring founders to seasoned executives, everyone belongs here.

We have designed this day to maximize connection and output. Each track is curated to address the real challenges we face, access to capital, technical skill gaps, market access, and the infrastructure deficit. The Future Ready AI Program is a centerpiece of our agenda, designed to ensure that no Ndi Igbo professional is left behind in the global AI transformation.

Tomorrow we prove that the South East is the technology hub of Nigeria. If you care about the future of our region, be in that room. Bring your ideas, your questions, and your willingness to contribute. This is our moment. See you at 10am. Register now.

This Saturday the Nnewi Tech Meetup represents more than a gathering. It represents a statement of intent about where our technology ecosystem is headed and who will lead it. Missing this opportunity means missing the chance to connect with the people who are actively building the future of technology in the Southeast. The agenda covers everything from practical development tools to strategic discussions about positioning Ndi Igbo as a global technology force. Attendees will leave with tangible insights and connections that cannot be replicated online.

Beyond the meetup, I want to draw attention to the Future Ready AI Program, a free weekly artificial intelligence training initiative for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra State schools. This program covers four comprehensive modules including Generative AI and Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Python for AI, and AI Ethics. Built in partnership with Microsoft and Google collaborators, this program ensures that our secondary school students are not left behind in the AI revolution. Schools in Anambra can register their students to participate.

The Ndi Igbo spirit has always been about excellence and community. These two initiatives, the meetup and the AI training program, represent both sides of that ethos. We are building for today through the meetup and for tomorrow through the Future Ready AI Program.

Register for the meetup at www.techfaculty.ng. Schools interested in the Future Ready AI Program should visit the same site and select the education registration option.

Five years ago I sat in a small room wondering if we could build a technology education movement in Anambra State. Today Tech Faculty has trained over two thousand students across multiple campuses and the story is just beginning. What started as a conviction has become a community.

I want to share a testimonial that stayed with me. A young man from Oba joined our program with no prior coding experience. Eight months later he secured a remote role with a US based startup earning enough to support his entire family. Stories like this are why we wake up every morning. Our young people have the talent. They only need the opportunity and the structure.

We are accepting applications for our next cohort across all campuses. Whether you want to build websites, mobile applications, artificial intelligence models, or launch your own technology startup, the path is clear. We provide the roadmap, you provide the determination.

Join the growing movement of Ndi Igbo technology builders. Your story could be the next one we tell.

The Tech Faculty stands behind the Nnewi Tech Meetup on May 23 as the most significant technology gathering in the South East this year. We are bringing together developers, founders, investors, and policy thinkers under one roof to chart the path forward for our regional tech ecosystem. The venue is our Nnewi campus and the energy will be unmatched.

I am pleased to announce that our Future Ready AI Program is now open for school registrations. This is a free weekly AI training program designed for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra schools. The curriculum covers four comprehensive modules including Generative AI and Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Python for AI, and AI Ethics. We have built this program in partnership with Microsoft and Google certified partners to ensure world class quality. Schools interested in bringing this program to their students should register their interest now.

Our vision is clear. We are building the technology infrastructure that will power the next generation of Igbo enterprise. The Nnewi Tech Meetup is a milestone in that journey and the Future Ready AI Program is our investment in the generation that follows.

Join the conversation at the meetup and help us shape what comes next. School administrators can register their interest in the AI program directly.

There is a quiet revolution happening across Anambra and it does not make the headlines. Young boys and girls from our towns and villages are sitting in classrooms learning to build artificial intelligence models write Python scripts and deploy autonomous agents. They are not waiting for the future to arrive they are building it with their own hands.

I have spent the past year traveling across the state visiting schools and speaking with education leaders. What I have seen gives me immense hope. The hunger for knowledge among our young people is unmatched and when given the right tools and mentorship they produce work that rivals anything from the best schools in Lagos or Abuja. This is the Anambra I believe in and this is the Anambra we are investing in.

Our flagship program continues to be the Future Ready AI initiative which provides free weekly training to secondary school students. We have partnered with Microsoft and Google to build a curriculum that covers Generative AI Prompt Engineering AI Agents Python development and AI Ethics. Every Saturday morning our classrooms fill up with students eager to learn and every week I see their confidence grow.

This is a call to every school principal and education officer across Anambra. If you want your students to be part of this movement reach out to us to register your school. Together we can ensure that no child in Anambra is left behind in the age of artificial intelligence. Visit www.techfaculty.ng to begin the conversation.

NNEWI TECH MEET-UP 2.0

We started a movement last month as we held the first edition of Nnewi Tech Meetup.

This May promises to bring more of the warmth and community energy we started with last month.

Most tech conversations celebrate the cloud, AI, the flashy stack, etc.

At the root of all of these has to be a work culture that promotes collaboration and communication.

At Nnewi Tech Meetup 2.0, we are talking about the skills that sit quietly under every successful tech career but rarely make it onto any curriculum.

If you're in Nnewi on the 23rd of May, Tech Faculty ICT Centre is where you need to be by 10AM.

I'm excited about the conversations our speaker, Mr Alochukwu Obiabunmo II will bring to the event and the electric energy from our anchor Favour Chikamnele .

Attendance is free but registration is Compulsory. Get your ticket in the comments section.

This morning I signed the partnership documents with Microsoft and Google for what we are calling the Future Ready AI Program. Free weekly AI training for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra State schools. Four modules. Generative AI and Prompt Engineering. AI Agents. Python for AI. AI Ethics. This is not a pilot or a trial. This is a full scale deployment.

I asked myself a hard question weeks ago. What happens when the AI revolution reaches Anambra and our children are only consumers rather than creators. The answer was unacceptable. So we built a program that gives every secondary school student in this state access to world class AI education at zero cost. No selection bias. No favoritism. Just equal opportunity for every Nwa Afo.

The program covers prompt engineering so our students can command AI tools effectively. AI agents so they understand how autonomous systems think. Python programming tailored for artificial intelligence applications. And ethics because we must raise a generation that builds responsibly. Microsoft and Google are providing technical resources and curriculum validation.

Schools interested in registering should visit www.techfaculty.ng and click the Future Ready banner. Principals and ICT coordinators step forward. This is the moment Ndi Igbo claim our place in the global AI economy.
