The iDICE Startup Bridge Founders & Ecosystem Mixer was more than just a networking event but a gathering of visionaries committed to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in Benue State.

Hosted by SKYHub Nigeria, the implementing hub for the iDICE Startup Bridge Founders Lab in Benue State, the event brought together over 35 ecosystem players, government officials, startup founders, mentors, and innovation stakeholders to connect, share experiences, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Our five Cohort I founders had the opportunity to engage with experienced entrepreneurs, ecosystem leaders, and industry professionals, gaining practical insights that will shape how they validate ideas, build products, form partnerships, and make strategic decisions as they continue their entrepreneurial journey.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the iDICE Startup Bridge Programme for creating a platform that empowers emerging founders with the mentorship, networks, and opportunities they need to build sustainable businesses.

A special appreciation goes to Dr. Shadrach Akpem, mentor to our Cohort I founders, for his unwavering commitment, practical guidance, and invaluable mentorship throughout the programme. Another impactful week at the iDICE Startup Bridge Founders Lab – Benue State!

This week, our founders took a deep dive into one of the most critical aspects of building a successful startup: customer discovery and pitching.

Under the guidance of our mentor, Dr. Shadrach Akpem, founders explored practical approaches to understanding their customers, validating assumptions, and effectively communicating their solutions. Each startup’s pitch deck underwent a rigorous review process, with founders receiving hands-on support to refine their storytelling, sharpen their value propositions, and adopt investor-ready pitching techniques.

The transformation in confidence, clarity, and presentation skills among the founders has been remarkable to witness.

As we round off another productive week, SKYHub Nigeria is proud to continue facilitating intensive Data Analytics training for the staff of the Benue State Bureau for International Cooperation and Development (BICD).

Over the past weeks, participants have demonstrated remarkable commitment and enthusiasm as they deepen their understanding of data analysis, visualization, and data-driven decision-making. It has been inspiring to witness their growth and readiness to leverage data as a strategic tool for development and governance.
