Ghanaian streamer Emmanuel Addo Boatey, known as Kwekuaddo, says gaining an audience online has not necessarily made it easier for him to feel satisfied with his achievements.

The 25-year-old streamer said he struggles with what he described as low self-satisfaction and often finds it difficult to acknowledge milestones in his career.

โ€œI barely acknowledge any milestone I hit,โ€ he said. โ€œNot because Iโ€™m ungrateful, but I feel I can do way better.โ€

The comments offer a more personal account of the pressures behind the growth of an online career.

Kwekuaddo said he had gained significant recognition within a relatively short period after committing to consistent streaming.

His collaborations with personalities including Geh Geh, Medikal, Agradaa and Ebo Noah have helped bring attention to his broadcasts.

According to figures provided by the streamer, a livestream involving Geh Geh reached more than 300,000 total views and peaked at approximately 11,000 live viewers.

But he said external recognition had not always translated into personal satisfaction.

Kwekuaddo identified procrastination as one of the most difficult challenges he has faced and said he continued to struggle with it.

The streamer also said he had previously considered taking a break from broadcasting while dealing with depression.

He said he did not consider permanently quitting but needed time away from the pressures he was experiencing.

Kwekuaddoโ€™s comments reflect a tension increasingly visible among digital creators: public metrics such as views, followers and engagement can suggest growth while offering little indication of how creators personally experience the demands of maintaining that visibility.

For livestreamers, success can also create pressure to produce increasingly ambitious broadcasts and maintain audience attention.

Kwekuaddo said he had taken risks by investing in better spaces and equipment for his streaming career, despite knowing that investment did not guarantee success.

Nigerian gaming creator Zeus has received recognition as a gaming influencer during an engagement involving the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, marking another milestone for the growing gaming and esports community in Nigeria.

The recognition highlights the increasing influence of gaming creators in Nigeriaโ€™s digital and creative economy, as content creation, livestreaming and competitive gaming continue to attract millions of young audiences across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.

Zeus has built a growing presence in the African gaming space through livestreams, gaming content and participation in major gaming campaigns and events. His work has helped bring greater attention to mobile gaming and esports among young audiences.

During the engagement, attention was also drawn to the role digital creators can play in youth development, technology adoption and the expansion of Nigeriaโ€™s creative economy.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has frequently positioned Lagos as a centre for technology, innovation and the creative industries, with the state hosting a large share of Nigeriaโ€™s startups, entertainment companies and digital creators.

For Zeus, the recognition represents a significant step beyond the gaming community and reflects the wider visibility gaming influencers are gaining in mainstream Nigerian society.

As esports and gaming continue to expand across Africa, moments of recognition from public institutions could further strengthen the legitimacy of gaming as a viable career path for young Africans.

Adedapo Adewale Ishola, professionally known as โ€œBABA BEJIโ€ heโ€™s a Nigerian content creator and pumping machine engineer, has built an audience of more than 1.6 million followers on TikTok, marking a significant milestone in his growing career as a digital creator.

Born on March 3, 2003, in Lagos State, Ishola began his content creation journey in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. What initially started as an activity aimed at entertaining friends and making people laugh gradually developed into a professional pursuit.

Before becoming a full-time content creator, Ishola had been encouraged by friends, classmates and teachers to explore content creation because of his ability to entertain others. He initially viewed the activity as something he did for fun and did not consider pursuing it professionally.

His journey took a different direction after he completed secondary school in 2022. Due to financial limitations that prevented him from immediately continuing his education, Ishola decided to acquire a vocational skill that could provide him with an income.

He subsequently trained as a pumping machine engineer, specializing in the repair and servicing of pumping machines. He later established Empire Flow, a business providing pumping machine repair and servicing services.

The income from his engineering work also helped him return to content creation. During the early stages of his journey, Ishola relied on friendsโ€™ phones to record his videos. After earning income from his engineering work, he purchased his own phone and resumed producing content.

His audience grew significantly in the years that followed, with 2025 becoming an important period in his rise to greater public recognition.

As Eromosele Edward Ozah celebrates his 30th birthday today, August 31, 2026, the milestone comes at a period when the young Nigerian entrepreneur is looking beyond personal success and setting an ambitious target that could have a wider impact on Africaโ€™s agricultural sector.

Born on August 31, 1996, in Benin City, Edo State, and originally from Uromi in Esan North-East Local Government Area, Ozah has built a diverse career spanning influencer marketing, business consultancy, agriculture and livestock production.

While his professional journey began in a completely different direction, agriculture has gradually become one of the most important parts of his entrepreneurial identity.

Ozah studied Fisheries for his first degree and is currently studying Economics at a private institution in Nigeria. His academic background has provided him with knowledge connected to agriculture, while his continued study of Economics is broadening his understanding of markets, business and economic development.

Before venturing into agriculture, Ozah worked as a makeup artist before transitioning into influencer marketing. He underwent additional training and completed professional courses before beginning his career in the sector.

He eventually spent approximately three years working in influencer marketing, an experience that gave him valuable exposure to digital communication, brand strategy and the relationship between businesses and consumers.
