MOTION DETECTION SENSITIVITY IS KEY
When setting up your solar CCTV camera, start with medium sensitivity and adjust based on your environment. Too high = constant alerts from birds, lizards, or passing cars. Too low = you miss real threats.
In busy Lagos compounds, enable “human detection” or “person detection” AI if your camera has it — it drastically reduces false alarms.
Pro tip: Create activity zones so the camera only alerts for your gate, entrance, or car park.
