My younger sister's genotype was SS. One day, I saw her in the living room, she was holding her leg. You know SS people, every part of their body is paining them. If you ask her “Where is paining you?” she can't pinpoint.
With so much compassion and anger, I went into the room and started praying in the Spirit. I kept on praying till the Holy Spirit told me to lay my hands on her. The sign that the prayer has been answered is that once I lay my hands on her, she would sleep. That was the sign God gave me.
I went to the living room to meet her, laid my hands on her and immediately, she passed out. She woke up in the morning and everything was fine. So I said “Let's go and check your genotype.”
This is how my family joined my church. They'll think it's youthful exuberance until you introduce power. They'll say that this Jesus thing you're doing is something you want to use and waste time, they will never believe there's anything profitable in that Christianity you're doing until they see real Power of the Spirit.
After checking the genotype, they discovered that SS has turned to AS. They checked from hospital to hospital to confirm. That was how my mom came to my church. My mom came to my church, I laid hands on her and she started manifesting 😂. My mom was dancing on the floor, I said “Help her, help her😂”
After service, we were in the car. I was driving her home and she said something in Yoruba language. She said “Mi ò mọ̀ pé o ní anointing.” That means ‘I did not know you carry anointing’. She got home, took her phone and started calling all her sick friends.
One of her friends had fibroid, called me and I went to pray for her. I prayed for the woman and the fibroid disappeared. That day, I went to the chapel and said to myself “Now, God has launched me into the healing ministry”
Nobody could tell me anything. All I knew was “I carry Power” you can't even tell me otherwise.
I went to buy MTN recharge card and the girl selling it was on crutches. She couldn't walk, not that the legs were that bad. They were there. So I said to myself “This one is an easy miracle na, I've healed fibroid, changed genotypes, so what is this one that God can't handle”
“Give me 5000 naira MTN recharge card” I said. She asked me to give her money and I said to her “by the time I'm done, you won't even ask me for money”.. she was looking at me confused.
I said to her “Do you want to walk?” and she replied “Yes”. I said “In the name of Jesus, Walk!” I carried her hand and tried to make her walk but she couldn't. I tried six more times to no avail. People had already gathered. One of them said “leave her naa, do you want to k i i l her?” .... I was ashamed and left.
I told God that I wasn't going to pray for one week because He disgraced me. The second day of no prayer, God came to me and said “Dolapo, you wanted to sell miracle for 5 thousand Naira?” He led me to Acts 10:38 where the Bible talked about how God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and Power, who went about doing good...
Jesus went about doing ‘GOOD' not ‘miracle’. In other words, Jesus was healing, not to show power but because He didn't like their condition. My own miracle didn't work this time because I didn't have compassion.
Galatians 5:6 teaches that FAITH works by LOVE. That was when I started watching Pastor Benny Hinn's video clips. I discovered that before he starts ministering to the sick, he'll be crying. That tears is just a sign of deep concern and compassion. He really needed Jesus to heal them for his name's sake.
It's the heart matter. The heart is involved. You want to ‘help people’ not to ‘do miracles’
