POV: You're a 16-year-old Social Media Manager
People think social media management is just posting pictures and writing captions.
But honestly it's not
One minute you're creating a beautiful restaurant post.
The next minute the client says: "Can you make the rice look hotter?"
Sir... the rice has already been cooked. I'm not a magician. ππ
Then another person says: "This design is nice... but can you make the logo bigger, smaller, more visible and less visible at the same time?"
Excuse me... which one exactly? π
As social media managers, we meet different people every day.
Some clients are absolute angels. β€οΈ They trust your creativity, appreciate your work, pay on time, and even recommend you to others.
Then... there are the "special" ones. π
The ones who send "Urgent!" at 11:58 PM and expect a complete week's content by midnight.
The ones who reply after three days and still ask, "Why haven't you posted?" π
The ones who say, "It will only take 2 minutes."
If it's truly 2 minutes... why didn't you do it yourself? π
But despite all the funny experiences, I genuinely love what I do.
At just 16 years old, I've had the opportunity to manage business pages, learn about branding, communicate with different personalities, solve problems, and help businesses grow online.
Every client teaches me something new.
Some teach patience. Some teach communication. Some teach negotiation. And a few... teach me the true meaning of "God give me strength." ππ
Being a social media manager isn't just about making posts.
It's about understanding people.
So here's my question...
What's the funniest thing a customer or client has ever said to you?
Or if you've ever worked with a social media manager...
Be honest... have you ever been that client?
Let's laugh together in the comments!
