Manual Testing: the entry point that’s launching careers across Africa.

Real talk a lot of people think testing is just ‘clicking buttons’.

It’s not.

Manual Testing is about understanding software deeply enough to break it before your users do. It’s about thinking like the person who built it AND the person who uses it.

What you learn in our Manual Testing cohort:
→ How to design test cases that actually catch bugs
→ How to write bug reports that developers take seriously
→ How to document your work like a professional QA engineer
→ How to use industry tools: JIRA, TestRail, and more
→ How to think about quality from a business perspective

Who this is for:
✅ Career changers ready to pivot into tech
✅ Graduates who want their first real tech role
✅ Anyone who’s been lurking on QA Twitter and knows it’s time

Trying to break into tech through Software Quality Assurance, but not sure what employers expect from a junior QA candidate?

Knowing tools like Jira, Postman, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium is useful but tools alone will not make you job-ready. Employers also look for candidates who can think critically, write clear bug reports, understand testing fundamentals, communicate well, and show practical work.

At Qace Academy, we help beginners and career switchers build these skills through structured training, mentorship, hands-on projects, and career guidance.

Ready to start your QA journey? Send us a DM with the word SKILLS to learn about our training programmes.

Learn. Practise. Build. Grow with Qace Academy.
