A pure water factory reached out to us with a need. They wanted to be able to monitor their entire production remotely, even while they were out of the country.

They needed to see their production dashboards, watch their CCTV cameras, and keep an eye on their utilities like pumps, compressors, and chillers.

We suggested using Starlink to make this possible. On top of that, we added a failover internet connection so that even if one network goes down, monitoring would continue without interruption.

After setting it up, everything changed. The client can now log in from anywhere and clearly see what’s happening in the factory at any moment. No lag, no interruptions.

This is how a smart internet setup can make managing a factory simple and reliable, even from thousands of miles away.

So I walked into this really popular coworking space. you know the kind with aesthetic walls, good coffee smell, and the “techie vibe.”

I needed a private office for an interview I had later that week.

Everything looked perfect. The space, the setup, the vibe. I was already mentally setting up my laptop on one of those sleek tables… until I asked the simple question:

“How’s your internet connection?”

The young man smiled awkwardly and said,

“Uhm… it’s been a bit unstable lately.”

He went on to explain that they had reached to the the company and they promised to come fix it the next day.

In that moment, the whole deal was off.
Because no matter how beautiful a workspace looks, if your internet isn’t stable, you’ve lost the battle before it begins.

In today’s world, uninterrupted internet isn’t just convenience, it’s productivity, opportunity, and reliability.

They lost a potential customer that day, not because of price or design, but because of one thing: bad internet.

The solution? Starlink. Fast, reliable, uninterrupted internet that keeps work flowing and opportunities alive.

Let’s talk about the original VC in many Nigerian communities.

Not Silicon Valley.
Not Bank of Industry.
Not even your favorite angel investor group.

It’s the Church.

That small parish in Orerokpe.

That mega-auditorium on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

That gathering of believers, weekly, faithfully, pouring into each other.

Now, before you scroll past, think about it:

Who gives interest-free loans and grants the most when help isn't near?

- The women’s fellowship that raised ₦250,000 for a member’s tailoring shop.

- The pastor that announces announces church worker's bakery needs a new oven—and the offering basket becomes a crowdfunding platform.

- That benevolence committee that helped someone pay off rent, just so their kiosk wouldn't shut down.

We don’t always call it “venture capital,” but that’s exactly what it is: Risk capital poured into small businesses, new ideas, survival stories.

The church has been doing it for decades.
Quietly. Reliably. Communally.

But here’s where it gets interesting...

What if the church became more intentional about it?

Not just reactive giving, but structured, strategic investing.

Because while benevolence is beautiful, systems create sustainability.

What if:

- Churches set up investment cooperatives for members?

- Trained youth in financial literacy, digital skills, and entrepreneurship instead of only choir rehearsal and vigils.

- Created business incubators with mentorship, not just “go and succeed, God be with you”?

- Launched in-house training programs in branding, business modeling, and operational strategy?

- Partnered with ethical VCs to de-risk local innovation and back kingdom-minded founders?

Lowkey, one of the biggest blessings in this Naija hustle…
Is having parents/guardian/uncle/siblings that still send you money even as an adult.

Not because you’re lazy.
Not because you don’t have a job.
But because they know this life no be beans.
And they still want to cushion your landing.

Maybe it’s your rent they top up.
Maybe it’s small monthly “take this, I know say salary never drop.”
Maybe they randomly send you foodstuff or sort one or two bills.

In a country where everybody dey try survive,
this kind of support is not just love; it’s a great advantage.

So if your peeps still show up for you financially, no matter how small,
say a prayer of gratitude. Hug them tighter.
And if you didn’t have that, may you become that soft landing for your own kids or someone some day.

No shame in being supported.
Just make sure you turn it into success that blesses others too.

Brand Optimization: Be the No.1 Search Result in Your Industry

When your industry needs the BEST at your skill, will you come to mind?

Think of yourself as a website and your career as a search engine. To “rank” for opportunities, clients, or connections, you need to optimize your brand like an SEO pro. Here’s how:

Keywords = Your Expertise
What do you want to be known for? Nail your niche (e.g., “AI marketing strategist” or “sustainability coach”) and weave those keywords into your story.

Content = Your Reputation
Every project, post, or conversation is a “page” people land on. Share value, solve problems, and speak with purpose. Good content = trust.

Backlinks = Your Relationships
Just like websites need links from other sites, you need advocates. Collaborate, mentor, and build a network that *vouches for you*.

Speed = Your Reliability
Google prioritizes fast-loading sites. In real life? Deliver on time, communicate clearly, and be the person others can depend on.

SEO Audit = Self-Reflection
Track your “traffic” (feedback, opportunities, growth). This week, double down on what works, fix what doesn’t, and keep evolving.

Your brand isn’t static—it’s a living, optimizable asset. Start tweaking your “algorithm” today.

My big toe used to be one of my biggest insecurity 😅 .

But now it's Sandal season cos I don't care anymore.

This little guy has seen better days (blame it on childhood rough plays, questionable shoe choices, or just… life).

But hey, if my toe’s the worst thing about me, I’ll take it! No more wearing only shoes.

Anyone else have a ‘problem child’ body part they’re lowkey hiding?
