A MESSAGE TO Graphic DESIGNER (read and digest it)

Some day ago a designer reached out to me

And from his voice and tone of words I can sense that he's tired and doesn't even know the way forward

Yes

I can relate with that very well

There will be a time that you won't feel like going forward anymore

Not because you don't want to but because there's something inside you that felt like you already loss the race

So back to the discussion

He said

"Hello Ibukun please can you help me, I don't know what else to do"

Then he continues

"I'm not feeling it like before, I think I already lost it"

Then he mentioned one interesting part

"Clients are no longer coming, what can you do to help me"

Seeing this message, I wasn't shocked

Because I have passed through that stage as well

If by chance I came out here to talk about AI, maybe just once or twice

Cause AI is here already and now it's left for us to double up the work

I understand where he's coming from, he might have put in all the work but still doesn't see results

Those clients that patronised him before is now using ai for there work

So with that he may felt ignore or start losing his value

By begging to work for clients at a cheaper price

But trust me that doesn't solve the problem

Oh yeeeee, my designer the time has come that many designers will be jobless not because they are not good

But because they don't solve problem

Now is the time that your problem solving ability will be tested and scale

If you fall low you will be jobless but if you scale up you will move up

Now is the time to fight your inner self and build properly, show up everyday regardless of whoever is noticing you

I have seen many ai flyers but they still lack a lot of things to call it professional

Ai cannot replace designer (I stand with that)

No one is coming to save you

There are companies, organisations, brands and businesses that still value real human work

You just need the potentials to qualify

Don't lose hope, don't lose focus

The journey isn't supposed to be easy, keep pushing the limit

One day your efforts will be crowned

Let's keep growing together ✌️
