AHHH! 😂 YOU PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS MONETIZATION THING O!

You people were shouting, “Keep posting! Keep creating! Your time will come!” 😭😂

I kept posting o… I kept creating… and finally, Facebook monetized me! 🎉🥳

I was so happy! I said, “Okay, now the money will start entering.”

But since I got monetized, I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY SUBSCRIBER

Not even one person has come to say, “Aunty, I subscribe to you.”

I’m just checking my dashboard every day like a landlord waiting for rent. 👀

My fellow creators, abeg come and tell me the truth.

Is this how it starts after monetization, or am I doing something wrong?

How long did it take you to start getting subscribers after you got monetized?

And those of you already earning from Facebook, what did you start doing differently after monetization?

Abeg, don’t gatekeep!
Come and talk to your girl. Let’s learn from each other in the comments. 👇🏽❤️

HOW MANY PEOPLE STILL REMEMBER OSINACHI NWACHUKWU? 💔

Sometimes I wonder how quickly we move on from stories that should have taught us something.

Osinachi Nwachukwu was a gospel singer many of us knew and loved. After her death in 2022, her family and friends spoke about the domestic abuse she had allegedly experienced in her marriage. Reports also said some people close to her had encouraged her to leave, but she hoped and prayed that her husband would change.

Today, people have moved on with their lives. But her story still leaves one painful question:

How many women are still staying in abusive marriages, hoping that prayer alone will make an abusive partner change?

Marriage is not supposed to mean enduring violence.

You can pray for your marriage and still seek help. You can love your spouse and still protect yourself. You can believe in God and still remove yourself from a dangerous situation.

And please, if someone you know is being abused, don’t just tell her to “pray about it.” Listen to her. Support her. Help her get somewhere safe.

This isn’t about attacking marriage or telling people to leave at the first disagreement. There is a huge difference between marital problems and abuse.

Osinachi’s story should never become just another old story we forget. 💔

MUMMIES, WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Can prayer and patience ever be enough when there is repeated abuse, or should a woman leave once her safety is at risk? 👇🏽

CONTENT CREATORS, BE HONEST WITH ME…

Have you ever entered the market with your phone ready to create content, only for you to suddenly become shy?

Because me, I won’t lie, market anxiety is real! 😭

There are times I want to bring out my phone and start recording, but the moment I notice people looking at me, I start feeling somehow.

I’ll be thinking, “Are they looking at me? Do they know I’m recording? What if this person enters my video? What if they start wondering what I’m doing?”

Meanwhile, nobody may even care!

But as a content creator, you have to keep pushing yourself because if I allow that fear to stop me, I’ll miss plenty content opportunities.

So tell me, my fellow creators…

Have you overcome that market anxiety when creating content, or are you still struggling to confidently bring out your phone and record in public?

And please tell me the most awkward thing that has happened to you while recording in the market. 😂👇🏽

IF I CATCH THE PERSON THAT SAID “MOTHERHOOD GETS BETTER DAY BY DAY” EHEN… 😭

Because please, where exactly is the better wey you promised us?

My baby is now 24/7 active! One minute I arrange the house, the next minute everywhere looks like a serious investigation has taken place.

I’ll pick up one thing, she’ll scatter another.

I’ll arrange the sitting room, she’ll rearrange it in her own special way.

And the speed? Na who teach these children how to move this fast?

Sometimes I just stand there looking at the house like, “So I was the one that arranged this place this morning?”

But honestly, every stage comes with its own wahala. Some stages are physically exhausting, some are emotionally draining, and some will simply test your patience. ❤️

MUMMIES, LET’S TALK! 👇🏽

Which stage of motherhood has been the HARDEST for you so far?

Tell me your experience because I want to know if it’s only me that is currently doing motherhood marathon.

MUMMIES, DID YOU EVER HAVE TO GO ON BED REST DURING PREGNANCY? 🤰🏽🥺

Pregnancy really taught me that you can plan everything, but your body can still have its own plans.

I remember hearing about pregnant women being placed on bed rest, and I used to wonder how they managed to stay in bed for days or even weeks. Because honestly, pregnancy alone can make you uncomfortable, talk less of being told to practically reduce your movement.

So I want to ask my fellow mummies…

Did your doctor ever tell you to go on bed rest during pregnancy?

If yes, what happened that made them recommend it?
And please, don’t just say the reason o 😂 tell us how long you stayed on bed rest and how you coped with it.

Because I know there are mummies here who probably went through this quietly, and your experience might help another pregnant woman feel less alone. ❤️

MUMMIES, COME AND TELL ME YOUR EXPERIENCE

Who else had this beautiful plan of, “When my baby starts eating, I’ll be making different healthy purées for him/her”

I had already imagined all the sweet potato, carrots, fruits and all those cute baby foods. I thought my baby would happily sit down and enjoy her purée like the baby in my imagination.

Only for reality to set in

You need to see how she drags Adult food with me every day.

So tell me, Mummies 👇🏽

Did your baby accept purée when you introduced it, or did your baby completely reject it and start showing interest in adult food?

I want to hear your experience because these babies can humble a mother!
