And its estimated to rise to 25M selling price in few shot years

Land is the container of value.


It took a while before I could wrap my head around this…


Maybe because I‘m a slow learner (which of course I am ☺️)

Am pretty bad at multitasking too.


But this I am GOOD at…



Drilling down and mimicking like crazy…


When I see a path to success, I want to sit still to find out why it happened. Or why that way or method and not a certain other way.


In short, I am a very good copycat.


So I’d like to tell you about a time when a concept in real estate buying struck me…



A 70-something year old man gave a speech somewhere…



I was there seated with other people. He gave a very long speech then concluded by saying this…



That the younger ones who cares to come for advice on how to preserve money and turn it into wealth.



Yes I have known him to be a good man, friendly and all that…



But I never knew the extent to which he has money or the type of wealth making resources he had in his portfolio.



At over 70, he has lots of investment…in Lagos. Most of these are lands

NO. YET. SOLD.

I became curious…because he is not Lagosian.

“so why buy lands this much in LAGOS….I asked myself”



In fact hearing the size of investment he has made a thought strike me…


Those places most people call bushes are where he sees opportunity.

You see a bush, he sees wealth.

You see a forest, he sees a goldmine.

You see an underdeveloped settlement, he takes positions in the market.

You see a place neglected by people, he looks for the atrices of city development, negotiates for a good price, and buys…



He then waits for time to pass


And for you to have a problem of "needing a sizable land for agriculture, or a vast land to use for commercial purpose.


BOOM !!! He strikes when the iron is hot.


Sells at 10X the price he bought the land...


Which is enough to cover the total price he bought all the total acres of land altogether.


Means that he got back his initial money and still has enough land to sell.


He makes profits and moves to the next place that is to turn into a community. (or the next place to BLOW, Lol.)



Making LAND A CONTAINER OF VALUE…OF WEALTH.


He made the money and still has more land to sell to make more money.


When you realise this, you’ll understand that when you buy land, you are buying the future.


Read that again and AGAIN….AND AGAIN!!!


Or even tattoo it on my arm…Lol.

I got asked this question recently...and I was like, okay lets look at it together. (This is a real life story)

*The Q:*
Buying a piece of land for land banking at this age (his present age) is a waste of time and scarce resources. Because one might not live long to reap the rewards.
And I was like Hmmmh...that makes sense.
But not a complete sense actually (don't mean to be rude)

But am just trying to tell the facts.

Because *that thinking is flawed*.

How many times have you seen a man of 78 years wanting to sell his land

Because he feels he want to enjoy the remaining time he has left.

And he doesn't want fights between his children all because of his property....then he sells it off.
And continues to enjoy his life.
If you asked the man about the time he bought those lands and property.

He'll tell you...
"35, 40 years ago, when this place was a thick bush and there used to be snakes and fishes swimming everywhere whenever it rains"
And that is what investing is...If you can not be patient

Then land banking isn't for you. Because all you are doing is keying into Leverage"
Using small money to reap BIG cash in the future.

But does that mean you should BUY anywhere you see land?CAPITAL *NO*

in fact, if you do this, you would have just shot yourself in the leg

And you know what that means *SABOTAGING yourself*. Because a lot of people make this error.

MARKETERS. SELL. THEM. A. LIE.
Because they never bothered to ask and know what he wanted to achieve with buying that land.

And that's where the kicker is...

I got to know a group of people who have been helping real estate buyers recently.

They dish out nuggets till your eyes begin to *POP* and would be like its almost bursting out of its sockets.

Any place that is 30 minutes to 1 hour drive from a city centre is a potential city.
GO BUY IT.
For people who don't have plenty millions for apartment homes but still want to position well for retirement.

then this is something you have to look at NOW.
Give yourself peace of mind later in life.
