Extension Officers - Markafi and Kano State

Pullus Africa is seeking an Extension Officer to provide critical support to farmers and enhance poultry farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular visits to farmers’ locations to provide extension support and guidance on poultry farming practices.

- Educate farmers on best practices in breeding, rearing, health management, and disease prevention for poultry farming.

- Assess existing poultry production systems and provide recommendations for improvements in biosecurity, housing, feeding, and waste management.

- Organize and deliver training sessions and workshops on topics such as poultry nutrition, feed formulation, and feed management.

- Collaborate with farmers to develop tailored feeding programs based on their production goals and available resources.

These future Poultry Extension Officers are starting a journey that will equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to support poultry farmers, strengthen farm operations, and contribute to a more productive poultry sector.
