If you're aspiring to be a programmer and good one at that, do not lose sight of , focusing on language syntax is not really fruitful but if you can focus on algorithms, how to convert life problems to algorithms, you'll sure hit the spot.

Don't forget, Is Needed for one to be proficient, of course you can go a long way without Math, but if you're aspiring to be good, tie your Math round your waist. This is not always easy, as it cuts across and Mathematics

As you learn, try to understand the mathematical concept behind each computer algorithm, it sure pays.
Don't get way over your head at the beginning, thinking you can write a complex code or create the next big software, just go easy and steady.
