Another kind of figure that illustrates the relationship between two characteristics or variables, known as x and y variables, is the boxplot. Numerical values for the y variable and object or category data make up the x variable.

The five (5) main dimensions of a boxplot are as follows: -
- Maximum
- Third Quantile (75%)
- Second Quantile(50%)
- First Quantile (25%)
- Minimum

Note that the y variable is necessary for the Boxplot, the x variable can be ignored.

A scatter plot is a type of plot that illustrates the relationship between two variables or features. It has two variables: x and y. For the scatter plot to appear, both variables (x and y) needed numerical values.

Clues
- Two variables (x and y) required
- Numerical values from x and y variables
