Entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint of heart.
If you're thinking about starting a business, here's what you're really signing up for:
It's not just late nights and hustle quotes—it’s a mental and emotional grind.
I’ve taken more hits than I can count—not physically, of course, but building Quest often felt like getting punched in the face over and over again.
And no, it didn’t look like the polished highlight reels you scroll past on Instagram.
Most people aren't wired for this kind of pressure—and honestly, that’s okay.
But if you're going to stick with it, you need something deeper driving you.
Because somewhere along the way, you will ask yourself:
“Why am I doing this?”
It’s overwhelming.
It’s exhausting.
It gets painful.
And if you don’t have a solid answer, you’ll probably walk away.
There’s a quote that always brings me back:
“Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”
If you don’t have a strong purpose, you won’t make it through the rough days—and trust me, there will be plenty of them.
Money alone won’t carry you. Neither will attention, praise, or titles.
You’ll fail. You’ll lose money. People will doubt you—and sometimes, you’ll doubt yourself too.
That’s just part of the deal.
But here’s the thing:
Entrepreneurship will shape you. It’ll stretch you, challenge you, and ultimately show you what you’re made of.
And that growth? That’s more valuable than any payout or exit plan.
In the end, success isn’t about having all the answers—
It’s about being willing to stay in the game longer than most.
So if you’ve got a purpose that’s worth enduring the hard parts for…
You’ll outlast everyone else.
